Rachael Elizabeth Garden-Missing 32 Years

ON March 22, 1980 in Newton, New Hampshire, 15 year old Rachel Garden went to Rowe's Corner Market on Route 108, and purchased chewing gum and a pack of cigarettes. She paid and left between 9-9:30 PM. and began walking to a friends house located on North Main Street. It was Saturday night, and she planned to spend the night there. She never arrived and hasn't been seen since.
All of her personal belongings were left behind, including all of her clothes and her dental retainer. Her family also just purchased a horse, and they say Rachel would have never left the him unattended.
Rachel was 5'1" and 100 lbs. at the time of her disappearance. She had light brown hair and hazel eyes, wore a dental retainer and had pierced ears. She was last seen wearing a blue two tone ski parka, jeans, a plaid shirt with silver threads and brown lace up shoes, along with a dark blue tote bag with the word "Things" on it.

Rachael's disappearance was first treated as a runaway case, and as a result her story was in the shadows during the most critical time frame: the first 48 hours. Months and months later, her classmates didn't even realize she was gone, they thought she simply dropped out of school. No announcements were made, no friends interviewed for months-not even any fliers were put up. People in her small town didn't even know she was missing! With Rachel being a typical teenager, feeling squashed by her parents' rules, having to baby sit, hanging out with the rebellious cool kids at school, police felt she left to start a new life. I believe this is the reason she still is not found-they wasted a year of this investigation sweeping her under the rug as a runaway.

Some years later, two witnesses reported seeing Rachael with three young males in a dark car by Rowe's Market, the place where she was last sighted at. She was known to associate with these men before, despite their dishonorable reputation. These three young men are not unknown to residents, and are referred to as "bad news". Police have followed leads and searched for her body in certain areas in New Hampshire, but have found nothing.

Now, I would like to think that Rachel did runaway to start a new life elsewhere, but that theory does not add up with her story. I think it was amateur of the police department back then to assume that she was a runaway just because she was a teenager being rebellious. Most teens are at 15. It is my belief that Rachel went off with the three young men that night. Her friends, family and even the store clerk describe Rachael as outgoing, friendly and a sister who adored her siblings. She also didn't take anything with her,and you would think a young girl who is planning to runaway would. It seems that Rachael may have left with these boys, perhaps to one of the local high school hang outs, like the pond or woods near Maple Ave to smoke, drink or party. At her age, the rebellious lifestyle may have seemed alluring, and besides, most kids will do anything to fit in with the cool crowd. Most likely, something went wrong after that, whether accidental or on purpose, we may never know unless someone comes forward.

32 years later, Rachael's file still sits and her family still waits for answers. It is very probable that Rachael is somewhere out there, or that someone from this small town knows where she is, I doubt Rachael is far from her hometown, as she was so young. Robin Ann Graham-Missing Over 42 Years

On November 14, 1970, 18 year old Robin Graham dropped her car off at Pier One Imports where she worked she worked part time in Los Angeles, CA. She left the store driving her boyfriend's car. The car was known to have stalled out around 2:00 AM on the Hollywood Freeway going south near Santa Monica Boulevard and Vermont Ave. A California highway patrol man says he saw her standing next to her car, and pulled over to see if she needed help. She claimed that her parents were on the way after she called them and told them she had ran out of gas. He4 later saw her with an unidentified white male who had his light blue hard top Corvette parked behind Robin's boyfriend's car. The highway patrolman watched the unidentified male get Robin's boyfriend's car started, than they rode off in his car together. The patrolman says Robin got into the man's car willingly. The next day, her parents searched for Robin and found her car, locked up and abandoned on the side of the freeway. Robin has never been seen or heard from again.

Months later, a woman came forward and said her car had also stalled alongside the freeway, and a man driving a Corvette stopped and offered to help her, saying he was an off duty detective. She refused his offer, and he left. There's been no proof this is the same man last seen with Robin, but it is probable.

Robin was a student at Pierce College when she vanished. She also had brown hair and brown eyes, and is 5'6" and weighed 125 lbs. She was last wearing a blue corduroy jacket with gold buttons, blue jeans, red clog shoes, a red Jersey blouse along with last being seen carrying a leather purse.

One theory is that Robin was a victim of the Zodiac killer. She vanished on a full moon, which is when the Zodiac was known to strike. I believe this theory is very probable. So many young women vanished in the '70s, southern California from "car trouble." She may have left willingly, but I think who ever picked her up on the freeway that night fixed her car to gain her trust. Perhaps he offered her a ride to her parents' house, as she was also waiting for her parents to help her out that night. I think a pretty young girl like Robin, alone and stranded on the freeway at 2 AM is a target for any sadistic predator. I also think that the same guy who took Robin is the same guy who stopped to "help" the other youn woman stranded on the freeway as well, being that the Corvette was spotted both times. I don't think the outcome is favorable, as she's been gone so long. I also don't think that Robin is the first victim.

Still her parents keep hope. They still live at the same home and have the same number now as they did in the '70s, waiting t bring Robin home. Cathy Moulton-Missing 40 Years

On September 24, 1971, Cathy Moulton from Portland, Maine planned to attend a YWCA dance in her hometown for the night. She was in need of new pantyhose and was dropped off on Cumberland Avenue by her father so she could do some shopping. That afternoon, she stopped by a music store to visit her friend. The friend confirmed that she had purchased some toothpaste and a new pair of pantyhose.She told her friend she was going to walk home and see her later at the dance. That was the last time her friend would ever see Cathy, as she never made it to the dance last night.
Cathy was last sighted walking home on Forest Avenue. She lived over a mile away from the music store, and her friend confirmed that she was carrying a brown leather clutch Mexican purse with her house key inside, panty hose, two tubes of toothpaste, and money. However, the amount of money she carried was not even enough to catch a ride home on the bus. She never made it home.
Cathy is thought to have gone missing before dinnertime on her way home on Forest Avenue. It's not known how close to home she was on her way back that afternoon. Cathy vanished when she was 16 years old, and at the time was 98 lbs. and 5'4". She had four eyeteeth removed, wore thick and plastic heavy framed glasses, and had braces. She also has a white spot on her left elbow and flat moles scattered across her back, along with wart removal scars on her feet. Cathy was last seen with brown hair and blue eyes in 1971. She was wearing a blue coat for all seasons, navy blue pant dress, brown leather shoes, and panty hose which had runs in them.
Cathy's story is so broad because there were no eye witnesses to her abduction, it's unknown where she was abducted from, or even why she is gone. One theory is that she ran away with her friend, Lester Everett. It's said they were spotted traveling in a stolen blue 1963 Cadillac. More sightings placed her with friend Lester Everett and another male working in a potato field 300 miles away from Portland. The witness said Cathy wanted to go home. This has not 100% been confirmed, and they located Lester, who said he had no idea where Cathy is.
I disagree with this theory. It'd be great if Cathy did leave, because than she may be alive and well today. However, I think Cathy would have taken more than toothpaste and panty hose with her if she planned to leave. I believe her belongings weren't missing at home, and she just didn't seem to have a motive to runaway. I wonder if she fit in well at school? If she had any bullies who may have seen her while they were driving down the road and may have decided to do a last mean deed to her? Or, perhaps this is a more probable theory, a predator she didn't even know came and abducted her on her walk home. If this road had any remote areas to it, I believe this is what happened to Cathy. She didn't purposely leave, she was taken. In 1983, a hunter claimed to have found a skeleton near Smyrna, Maine surrounded by female clothing in the woods. However, he was not able to lead police to the site. It's believed to have been the remains of Cathy, but it's still another mystery that adds to the story. Amy Billig-Missing 36 Years

Amy Billig was 17 years old when she went missing from Coconut Grove, Florida on March 5, 1974. She was last seen hitch hiking by the Main Highway in town to get to her father's gallery office. She called him before hand and he agreed to lend her some money so she could hang out with her friends later that day. Amy never arrived at her father's office and she never met up with her friends that day.
Amy's camera was located at the Wildwood exit at Florida's Turnpike after Amy vanished. Most of the pictures on the camera were over exposed. It is unknown when the camera itself went missing.
After her disappearance, Amy's journal was investigated. She wrote that she considered running away to South America with a guy named Hank. It seems unlikely it actually happened though.
Susan Billig, Amy's mother, heroically took on the search for her daughter until the day she died in 2005. She wrote a book about it called Without a Trace. In her investigation, many tips turned up, all saying that Amy was abducted by one of the motorcycle gangs that was passing through town that day. It was believed she was being held captive by The Pagans or The Outlaws. All these tips led Susan across the nation and even over seas in the search for her daughter. It always seemed she was so close, yet so far to finding Amy.
Amy was 5'5' and weighed 110 lbs. at the time of her disappearance. She had brown hair and brown eyes. Amy also has a 2-inch scar on her abdomen from an appendectomy. She also had a high stepping gait and may have a tattoo. Amy was last seen wearing cork platform sandals and a denim mini skirt. She may use the aliases Mellow Cheryl, Mute, Sunshine, or Little Bits.
Now, Amy's disappearance is one that puzzles me. I have heard many theories, one mostly being that she was taken by a motorcycle gang that was passing through. Another one, perhaps not as well known, was that Amy was at a party and had an overdose. The party attenders panicked, and threw her body to the gators. Now, I hope against hope that this was not the scenario, or she will never be found. I think that Amy met up with the wrong person while hitchhiking, and it cost her her life. Whether it was on purpose or an accidental overdose, I can't say. It's possible that she is somewhere out there, not knowing who she is. My heart goes out to her family, and to her mother who died searching for her daughter. Jennifer Lynn Fay-Missing 21 Years

Jennifer Lynn Fay was 16 years old when she went missing on November 14, 1989 from Brockton, Massachusetts. She was supposed to baby sit her siblings but decided to go to a party with her friends. Jennifer did go back to get her sweater and got her cousin to watch the kids.

It is said Jennifer went to a friend's house, but she was not home. Her mother answered the door and refused to let her in because she seemed slightly incapacitated and smelled of liquor. She then left her friends house to go to a convenience store with a teenage male friend at the end of the street that Jennifer lived on, less than a minute away from her home. The male friend felt sick and left when she was still inside. Jennifer hasn't been heard from since. It's reported that she was in high spirits at the time she disappeared. Her friend, who was the last person to reportedly see her, was cleared as a suspect.

Jennifer's friends did not seem to be the best crowd, and have been uncooperative in the investigation. For awhile, police said Jennifer was a runaway. Recently, her case has been reopened and police now suspect foul play, and do not think Jennifer was a runaway at all. Police recently believed that Jennifer's remains are buried in a nearby town. In 2003, a tip was given saying that Jennifer was murdered and her body was placed in the trunk of a car and dumped in a pond, just minutes away from her home. Police searched the pond and found nothing.

Jennifer was sixteen when she went missing, but would be 37 years old today. She weighed 100 lbs. and was 5'4" when she vanished. She had a scar above her left eyebrow and her teeth are crowded at the front of her mouth. Jennifer had blond hair and blue eyes, and her nickname was Jen.

I am very happy that they reopened her case as a non-family abduction. It seems that when teenagers are classified as runaways, police seem to shrug off the case, which is not right, regardless. I wonder if the clerk of the convenience store was interviewed, since they would have been the last person to initially see her, but my searches about the clerk turned up nothing. It is possible that she was a little drunk, and fell into the wrong hands that night. If she was happy at the time she went missing, it is hard to believe she ran away, especially since she was last seen alone. I believe there would have been reported sightings of her if she did, because she has unique features.
It is questionable why her friends are uncooperative, as you'd think they'd want their friend to be found. I hope the new private investigators interview them once more. Maybe they know more than they're saying. I have read theories saying she willingly left with someone she trusted, than later was harmed. Another theory is she willingly ran away, but some time later met with foul play. Regardless, major props to her mother who is leading the search for her daughter. Christina Lynn Carter-Missing 37 Years

Christina Carter was 3 years old when she vanished on September 17, 1973 from Hueytown, Alabama. Before she vanished, she lived only with her mother, Janet Carter. She was employed by an insurance company before she disappeared along with her daughter, Christina.

On October 7, Janet's body was found in a duffel bag along Clingman's Dome Rd. which is loacted inside the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Her body was nude and bound. It is believed she died of suffocation the same day she was found. Christina was not found with her mother and an extensive search for her in the park yeilded no results.

Janet's remains were not identified until a month after they were found, and officials did not even relalize Christina was missing until after that. It was also confirmed that Janet divorced her husband a couple months before they went missing, and Christina's father wanted custody of her. As a result, it is believed Janet and Christina went into hiding.

When Christina went missing she was 3 years old but would be 40 years old in 2010. She weighed 30 lbs. when she vanished and was 3'2". Christina has blonde hair and blue eyes and walked pidgeon toed when she vanished. She went by the nickname Christy.

There was not much information about this case, but a theory I have read up on seems credible. Authorities are guessing that Janet may have given Christina to someone else before she herself went missing. Now, if this theory is true, it could mean that Christina was in safe hands and may still be alive today, unaware of her real identity due to her age at the time she disappeared. This could also mean that Janet gave her away because she felt they were in some kind of danger, which resulted in Janet being murdered.

I wonder if Janet's husband was ever investigated in her murder and Christina's disappearance. It would certainly make sense, because these events occurred after the divorce, and he wanted custody of her.

This case reminds me of many others where the mother and children go missing, and it turns out the husband was at fault. Not all, but many turn out this way. FOUND: ALLISON MARIE MIMS

Allison Marie Mims vanished on December 23, 1980 when she was 19 years old. She was driving a drunk wedding guest home for the night. She was last seen around midnight. Her car was found abandoned days later. She vanished in Glendale, AZ.

Recently in 2010, partial remains found in Arizona were indentified as Allison Marie Mims. Actually, she was found in 1987, but her remains were not idenitfied until 2010. It appalled me that she had been recovered for over two decades, but not indentified. It makes a person wonder how many other missing children or persons are out there that are found, but not yet have a name put to the remains. Especially in cold cases. A lot of those seem to be resurfacing-like Jeannie Melville, found a year after she vanished, but not identified until decades later.

I do not know if they have any leads on suspects, as foul play is suspected. Despite her case as being cold and lacking attention, we can only hope they get some answers soon. I'd like to see justice for this girl and the family that has waited so long.

My heart goes out to Ali and her family for their loss of a beautiful young woman. After all these agonozing years, I hope they find peace. Finally. God Bless.

Tamara Keepness-Missing 6 years

On the evening of July 5, 2004, 5 year old Tamara Jewel Keepness went missing from the inside of her home in downtown Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada. She was tucked into bed at 11 PM, and there were many people coming and going through the house that night due to a get together. There were also reports of strangers in the area and her mother admitted that the back door to her home was left open that night as well. Tamara's disappearance was not reported until 2:15 PM the next day.

The Keepness family was investigated by police, and search teams combed through the neighborhood and nearby creek beds. All searches turned up nothing for the little girl. Interestingly enough, on the night that Tamara vanished, her father got into an altercation with a 33 year old man, sending him to the hospital. Her father was arrested for assault-which occurred in his home, where Tamara vanished from that same night. Two vehicles that remain uncovered still also were stolen the same night Tamara vanished, and police are in search for the both of them. They are a 1973 Orange Volkswagen van with a white roof and the license plate 728 DMF. The second car is a 1989 GMC 1500 truck, which is red withs silver sides and a 4X4 decal. Its license plate number is WDW 189.

Tamara was 5 when she disappeared and is Aboriginal. She had short, bobbed brown hair with brown eyes and a dark complexion. She weighed 40 lbs. and was 3'5" with a thin built at the time of her disappearance. She also has a birthmark on her chest and a scar on her lower left leg. She was last seen wearing a light blue, striped halter top with pink accents, light blue jeans and pink and white shoes. Tamara is shy, has a twin sister and knows her phone number, age, address and full name.

Now, I think Tamara's disappearance is very shady. First off, I think the fact that the backdoor wasn't properly locked or even closed, especially after 11 PM was very irresponsible of the parents, especially when they knew about many new strangers in town. There must be a link between the fight that happened in the home with her father, which is also where she vanished from. Was she taken away as a grudge towards the family? Did she see something she wasn't supposed? Two scenarios I have pondered were she wandered away in the night and got picked up, by a person with good or bad intentions. The second was her parents hurt her, and covered everything up all too well. I just don't see how a little girl could be securely tucked in at night, and would never be seen again. The reason I lean towards someone in the house causing her disappearance verses outside is that even though the door was open, there was no sign of an intruder or a struggle. They live close to the police station and have very close neighbors, so someone would have seen something, especially if there was a get together going on. Either way, I'm hoping this girl will get some well deserved media attention. I feel investigators have shoved her story under the rug, and that just kills me. Tamara would now be ten years old, almost eleven. Please study her picture, and see if you have seen her, or any of the vehicles described.

Ashley Freeman & Lauria (Laura) Bible-Missing 20 Years.

Lauria Bible had brown hair and hazel eyes. She has pierced ears, a scar on top of her head and a mole under her nose. Lauria is right handed and her nickname is "Pooh." She was last seen possibly wearing a blue shirt, jeans, white tennis shoes or black boots and silver heart-shaped earrings with embedded diamonds. Lauria was last 5'5" and 130 pounds.

Ashley Freeman had dark blonde hair and blue eyes. She had an athletic build in 1999 and has a scar on the upper left side of her forehead. Ashley was last seen possibly wearing a t-shirt, jeans, a baseball cap, white tennis shoes, a windbreaker and a class ring inscribed with the phrase "Bluejacket High School Class Of 2000." She was 5'7" and 145 pounds.

At 6 AM on December 30, 1999, a motorist reported a trailer house that was on fire, burning to the ground. After much search in the debris, Kathy & Danny Freeman's remains were identified though the rubble. The disturbing part is they didn't die of the fire set to the house-they died of gun shot wounds. The fire appeared to be purposely set, most likely to cover up the murders. But most concerning of all was that Ashley Freeman and Lauria (Laura) Bible, both 16, were missing. Their remains were not found at all in the rubble. Lauria's car was found outside, and her purse was found inside the house, along her wallet and cash inside. Both of the girls were never have never been found to this day. Ashley & Lauria would both be 26 years old.

The previous day before, Lauria was helping Ashley celebrate her 16th birthday. Her father had given her permission to spend the night at Ashley's as long as she was home before noon. The girls had been friends since kindergarten. They are missing from Welch, Oklahoma.

There are so many rumors in these girls' disappearance, and I have studied them all. One that I think is credible would have to do with Ashley's brother, Shane Freeman. He had behavior problems. He was abused by his father, with could be the trigger for some of his actions. He also broke in to Ashley's friend's house, which happened to be Lauria-the girl she vanished with, and stole her money and belongings. He also stole several of their firearms. Now here's where this gets interesting. On January 8, Shane was in possession of a stolen car that had broken down. He was shot and killed by officer Hayes, who claims that Shane had pulled a firearm out, giving him the right to shoot. The Freeman's had always believed Officer Hayes had used intimidation as an excuse to kill their son, and on December 29th, they filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the sheriff's office.

Now, Danny Freeman's brother (Vancil) had said Danny came up to him and told him that if anything happened to himself or his family, look at the sheriff's department. I believe it is credible that the Freeman's murder could have been a result of a feud. The girls could have been there wrong place, wrong time, but were killed because of what they had seen. Or they could have been abducted and killed elsewhere to throw any suspicion away from the sheriff's department. This could be a case of those officers abusing their power, and making an attempt to cover it up. Maybe that's why this case hasn't gotten anywhere in years. Both the murders and the disappearances.

The next theory I agree with is Shane could have been into drugs, whether that meant dealing them or taking them. Maybe after Shane's death, killing off his family and taking the girls was the next best thing to pay off a drug debt. Jeremy Jones has admitted to killing off the family and abducting and killing the girls later on to help a buddy. The only thing is, he was arrested at 4 AM and the house burnt down at 6.

The third one I hate to consider, but first did was the girls, or possibly just Ashley, could have murdered Kathy and Danny Freeman. I do believe that Ashley was sexually abused by her father, as her brother was physically abused by him. While both girls seem well natured and definitley not sinister enough to do such a thing, Ashley seems to have come from a broken home. She could have committed the crime and ran away, taking Lauria with her. If that was the case, they could both still be alive. I don't strongly believe the girls committed the crime, there fore I believe they met with foul play or are in danger. I also believe Lauria for sure was just there at the wrong place, wrong time.

Either way, they need to be found. Lauria Bible's family is still searching for them, and is holding a vigil this December 30, 2009. Please have a heart and report any tips, ANY TIPS you have about the girls' disappearance of the murder of Danny & Kathy Freeman.

Alison Marie Mims-Missing 30 Years!

On December 23, 1980 19 year old Alison Marie Mims was at her mother's wedding. She left between 11:30 and midnight. She informed her mother that she was giving a drunk wedding guest a ride home to the area of 59th Avenue and Missouri Avenue. The guest's house was located in Glendale, AZ. She was never heard from again and the last reported sight of her was leaving her mother's wedding party.

Mims was driving a cream colored 1974 Oldsmobile that was a four door vehicle. It was found deserted by 20th Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Glendale, AZ. Authorities say she is missing under suspicious circumstances and that foul play is suspected.

Alison goes by the nickname Ali and was last seen as being 5'3" and weighing 125 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. Ali also has cut marks on her wrists. She was last seen wearing a light blue sweater, white pants, gray calf-high zippered boots, a gold chain necklace with a silver cross, and a silver ring with a black stone that has a little diamond in the middle of it.

Alison's disappearance is sadly one that just was not in the spotlight, therefore there is not that much information about her. She is an absolutely beautiful young woman. I was not able to find out if they cleared the drunk individual she drove home that night. When I first read Ali's case, it seemed obvious that the drunken individual she was driving home would have answers, if they themselves had not been convicted, but it does not appear they have been found guilty otherwise I'm sure it would have been in some Arizona news article. So that leads me to a second theory, that possibly she was somehow stopped after she dropped the drunk off and whether it was car trouble, or her stopping to help someone, I doubt it ended nicely. Asha Degree-Missing 9 Years!

On the early hours of February 14, 2000, about 2:30 AM, 9 year old Asha Degree was last seen in bed by her father inside their home in Shelby, North Carolina. Degree shared a room with her brother who claims to have heard noises, but assumed his sister was tossing in her sleep. Her mother went to wake Asha up for school at 6:30 AM, but her daughter was nowhere to be found and hasn't been heard from since.

Two drivers claim to have seen Asha walking up Highway 18 at 4:00 AM. She was said to be near the intersection of Highway 180. She walked into the darkness, and this has proved to be the last confirmed sighting of Asha.

Asha's black Tweety Bird book bag was missing from her room along with some clothing. All the doors were locked the day she vanished-Asha kept her house key in her book bag. It is believed that she left on her own, but her reasons for leaving are unknown.

Three days later, her pencil, marker and mickey mouse hair bow were found on the doorway of a toolshed at Turner's Upholstery which is located on Highway 18. Eighteen months later, Asha's book bag with her name and number inside of it were found 50 yards away from highway 18 double wrapped in black plastic bags.

Asha was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, white jeans an white tennis shoes. She typically woe her hair up in pig tails. When she was last seen, she weighed 60 lbs. and was 4'6". Degree has brown eyes and black hair. Authorities have dug up areas in search for her remains, but have only found animal bones and a pair of men's khaki pants. They believe she has met with foul play.

A theory I have read in Asha's vanishing is that she was upset over a basketball game her team lost and that could possibly be her motive for leaving home, even though she was in a reportedly good mood later on. A second one deals with a book she was reading in her 4th grade class at school. It was called The Whipping Boy and tells a story of two children who runaway from home. It notes their adventures and in the end they return happily ever after. It is not known if she took the book as a metaphor for her reason for leaving home.

I believe that she was walking down the highway and was picked up from there by someone with poor intentions. Another theory that has bounced across my mind was she possibly left to meet up with someone, who either harmed her or took her away somewhere. I doubt a 9 year old girl could get very far by herself without being noticed. I also think that if she has met with foul play, her remains must be somewhere close by, perhaps even still in Shelby, NC judging from where her backpack and personal belongings were found. As for why she left, it could be so many things. She seems to have had a happy home life and was a very good student. We all have our secrets, we all have times in our lives where we feel bombarded by life itself and just want to get away. The thing is, we don't show it or talk about it, mostly because of shame, perhaps. But whatever Asha's reason was for leaving, it doesn't change that fact that she could be in danger. Her family needs answers, so please look at her picture, and try to remember if you've seen her. Eugene "Gene" Wade Martin-Missing 26 Years!

On August 12, 1984, 13 year old Eugene Martin left his home at 5 AM to do his early paper route in Des Moines, Iowa. His stepbrother did not go with him to deliver papers, so this one morning he was by himself. Around 5:45-6 AM, he was seen folding papers and talking to a clean cut man looking like he was in his thirties. Witnesses reported they looked to be engaged in a friendly conversation. Authorities do not know if the unknown man is involved in Eugene's disappearance.

At 7:15 AM, the manager called Eugene's parents reporting the rest of the newspapers were not being delivered. The official search for the 13 year old boy did not being until 8:40 that morning. Eugene's disappearance is looked at as having a definite connection with Johnny Gosch's disappearance, as they both were paper boys in Des Moines and vanished 2 years apart. At one time there was a $94,000 dollar reward for any tips that would lead officials to Johnny or Eugene. Neither of the boys have been heard from since. Eugene loved football, fishing, skating, and video games. His mother has since passed away, but the rest of his loved ones still search on for him.

Eugene was 5'0" and 110 lbs. at the time of his disappearance. He had brown hair and brown eyes, and also has a scar on his right knee. One of Eugene's wrists has a healed fracture. His nickname is Gene. He was last seen in a gray and white striped midriff t-shirt with red sleeves, blue jeans and blue "Trax sneakers" with white diagonal stripes. He would now be 38 years old.

I am 100% sure he was abducted by someone he knew barely or not at all. Perhaps he was engaging in a conversation with the unknown man because he didn't want to be rude, not because he could have known him. I am also positive his disappearance is connected to Johnny Goschs'. Both the boys cases are too eerily similar to ignore. I believe it is possible these boys were taken to be sold into some kind of slavery ring. It seems to me back in that time, it's something that was becoming common, and it was increasing-especially in the 80's. If that is the case, I do believe they could both be out there. Yes, we have been searching nation wide, but the boys might not even be in the United States anymore-that's the problem. They could easily be in Central or South America or even Europe.

My second guess is the guy Eugene was talking to some how piqued his interest and gained his trust, took him somewhere and harmed him. Although when I first read Eugene's story, I also believed the guy he was talking to could have been someone looking for boys to sell into slavery. There are so many rumors flying around in this case, but I can only hope someone recognizes Eugene and has the courage to pick up the phone and report where he is. You can remain anonymous! No matter what, please look into Eugene's eyes, remember him and keep watch-maybe you can bring him home!

Jonelle Renee Matthews-Missing 26 Years!

On December 20, 1984, 12 year old Jonelle Matthews got dropped off at her home at 8:15 PM by her friends in Greeley, Colorado. She had just returned from a Christmas choral concert program performed at the nursing home. Her mother (Gloria Matthews) was out of town visiting relatives and her older sister and father were at a basketball game. An acquaintance of her father was the last person to ever hear her voice again, as he spoke with her on the phone at 8: 30 PM.

Jim Matthews, Jonelle's father, arrived home at 9:30 PM to find nothing but her stockings and shoes on the floor. The television and lights were still on. She had taken a telephone message for another family member as well. Other than that, Jim had found no trace of his daughter.

Suspiciously, the garage door was open. There were unidentified footprints in the garage and behind the house. It is suspected by law enforcement that intruders , known or unknown to Jonelle, had broke into the house and abducted her.

Jonelle is adopted and her biological mother, Terri Vierra Martinez, was friends with the family and has been ruled out as a suspect.

There are two main theories out there. One is that she was sexually assaulted at her residence and murdered ( a main theory is that her remains were incinerated) by the unknown intruder or intruders. It is unknown if there could have been more than one abductor. Authorities think she was abducted and taken elsewhere. In 1994, her family held a memorial service for her. She is considered a murder victim instead of a missing person, but she has never been found. Her parents still live in Greeley, CO.

Jonelle was last seen wearing a light blue ski jacket, a red blouse, a dark gray sweater vest, a charcoal gray skirt and house slippers. She was last seen as 5'3" and weighed 115 lbs. She has brown hair, brown eyes. Jonelle has a scar on her chin, and wore a full set of braces on her teeth at the time of her 1984 disappearance. Her ears are also pierced.

My take on Jonelle's disappearance is that it could have very well been an intruder. Besides the footprints, there was really no evidence of a break-in though. There was also no sign of a struggle, so it could be possible she opened the door for them or it was a trusted adult or person she knew. I believe she was taken against her will from the house though. She went missing in December, and from the sounds of it, she didn't put her shoes on so I doubt she went willingly. I definitely believed she was abducted from her home, and even though she is considered a murder victim, they don't have a body to prove it. She could still be out there. She would now be 37. Please look at her picture and try to think if you could have seen her-at all! You may have very valuable information!

Amy Pagnac-Missing 20 Years.

On August 5, 1989 13 year old Amy Pagnac was last seen by her father when they stopped at a Holiday Inn gasoline station in Osseo, MN at 4:30 P.M. They lived in Maple Grove, MN but were visiting a family farm. He father briefly went inside to use the restroom and when he came back, she vanished from the parked vehicle. It was initially thought at first that she was a runaway, but the theory has been dismissed. Amy's thought to have had a seizure while her father was gone. It is also thought that she may have been disoriented and walked away afterwards, but it is not probable. There was a possible sighting of her in July 2002 in Bay City, MI. However, the lead was a dead end.

The family of Amy believes that she was abducted. There were multiple sightings of her in Minneapolis, MN following the days after her disappearance in August. The sightings also continue to show up in neighboring states. Her family has kept the same number in case she attempts to call them.

The good thing is, her case is not closed. The Maple Grove Police have even created a room in their department that is all about her case and are far from giving up.

Amy would now be 33 years old. She was last seen as being 5'0" and weighing 100 lbs. She had occasional seizures for reasons unknown and also bouts of anger. She has allergy medication that is mandatory for her to take, making her disappearance more concerning. Amy had long brown hair and blue eyes. She has scars on her left cheek and also the side of her nose and left eyelid. A circular scar is located on her left knee. Amy's ears are pierced and she has a petite stature. The clothing she was last seen in consisted of sweatpants, a light colored shirt and tennis shoes.

Now, when I first read about Amy's disappearance I initially thought it was probable she had a seizure and wandered off. If she did have a seizure, I reckon there would have been some kind of evidence confirming it, such as drool or maybe something out of place in the vehicle. Reading the article again, it stated her father went in the gas station to use the restroom only, making it seem he was in there for a short period of time. Now, if she did have a seizure and wandered off, I think she wouldn't have been able to get too far without being found. This is why I believe seizure or no seizure, someone took her. With all the sightings of her being confirmed, there is a good chance she is still alive somewhere out there. By now, she could have passed through all 50 states or even be in another country. If Amy had a seizure, she could have had memory loss, confusion, fear or even shame. This could even mean she was picked up and adopted, not remembering where she came from. There are so many things that could have happened, but if you are reading this, look at her picture and see if you have spotted this beautiful girl, now a young lady.

Victor "Jackie" Theel, Missing 66 Years.

On September 5, 1944 Victor 'Jackie' Theel who was 6 years of age attended his first day of school in Paynesville, MN. He only attended the half day of school, so at 11:30 AM his teacher asked him if he knew the way home. Jackie claimed that he did, so his teacher sent him on his way for lunch, where he was supposed to stay. His home was located at the corner of Lake Avenue and Railroad Street. It is now a vacant lot. Jackie never arrived home and has never been heard from since.

Bloodhounds traced his scent down to Washburne Avenue, The Crow River, then to Highway 23 where the scent seemingly ended. A couple returning from Long Lake claimed to see a young boy around 1 PM wearing a blue suit standing along Highway 23. A couple hours later, two young boys claimed to see a small boy enter a light gray car on Highway 23 around 4:45 P.M.

Jackie was slow, but not mentally disabled. It is believed by his family that he got lost on his way home from school and got picked up by someone. A main theory by authorities in his disappearance is that he was picked up by a soldier. The reason for this would be soldiers in the army at this time could get discharged if they had a dependent. His old teacher claims to have seen a young man getting off a navy ship in CA, and calling himself Jackie Theel. The young man looked very similar to what Jackie would have looked like. The other man with him claimed that Jackie was 'adopted.'

Currently, he his brother and sisters still live in Paynesville, MN and continue to search for him. Since it is very likely Jackie is not deceased, he has not been declared as legally dead, despite the amount of time that has passed.

Victor Theel goes by the name Jackie. He was 3'0" and weighed 45 lbs. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. Jackie was last seen wearing a blue and white sailor suit.

I think that it is more than likely that Victor got lost on his way home and just wanted to follow a road where the most cars and/or people would be on. It would simply be his natural instinct. It is disappointing that the teacher would let a slow 6 year old boy walk home by himself. The result of this is that he was probably picked up by someone. I strongly doubt he got lost in the woods and died of natural exposures or drowned in the Creek River. I also believe that Victor was 'adopted' by someone who picked him up, perhaps a solidier. It is likely that despite the amount of time passing, he is alive somewhere out there, not knowing who he really is or who he came from. Please look at this little boy and try to remember if you've seen him.

Toni Clark- Missing for 20 Years

Toni Danielle Clark left a cousin's home from Oakland, CA to drive back to her parents' home in San Francisco, CA on March 16, 1990. She was 17 years old a the time. The car she was driving, a Chevrolet Camaro that was her boyfriend's, kept stalling and had trouble starting. It stalled on the San Francisco Bay Bridge and at 12:00 AM, another car collided with it. 6 minutes later police found the car, but Toni was not in it and nowhere to be found.

It was assumed that the impact of the accident swept her under the water below the bridge. The U.S. Coast Guard dragged the bottom of the Bay but not one single trace of her was to be found. It is a believed that a week later her mother received a phone call from a girl who she believes was her daughter. The girl on the other line was crying for 40 seconds, then hung up. The phone call was unable to be traced. Authorities still believe that she drowned the night of the accident. However, there is still much doubt in that theory. Besides the suspicious phone call, witnesses report seeing an African American man looking under the Camaro, then leaving the scene. Also, no one says they say Toni's body going over the railing. Her bracelet that she never removes was found in the passenger seat of the car along with the car keys.

Toni Clark was a senior in high school who loved tack, swimming and dancing. She would now be 39 years old.

Her ears were pierced and she had a mole on her left calf and a scar on her right knee. She was last seen wearing a black tube top with lace, black linen shorts, light blue jean jacket, white loafers; a two gold nugget ring on her right hand and a gold chain bracelet. Most importantly, she was 2 months pregnant when she went missing!

Toni's disappearance is one that concerns me because she was pregnant and authorities have just written it off. Yes, it is a possibility that she drowned, but they have not one single piece of evidence that points to it. Thinking about the phone call and the bracelet that was found, I believe someone could have possibly picked her up. 6 minutes is plenty of time for someone to go missing without a trace. She was a teenage girl, alone at midnight with no possible way to get away from anyone who would want to take her. I wonder about the person who collided with the car. Did he just drive away after the accident or was he there the whole time? If he was, he probably would have seen something. If he was the one who harmed her, he could have easily thrown her body over the bridge, knowing it would never be found. Bottom line is, there is no evidence pointing to her being dead. I'd like to see her case investigated more, because I know there's more there than what meets the eye. Toni's mother believes she did not drown and is still searching for her to this day. Mary Rachel Trlica: She has brown/blonde hair with green/blue eyes. She is 5'6, 108 pounds and is addressed by her middle name, Rachel. Her front tooth is chipped and there is a small scar on her chin. She is left handed and her maiden name is Arnold. She was 17 years old at the time she was missing, and today would be about 52.

Lisa Renee Wilson: She has brown eyes with brown hair that has red highlights. She has a scar on her thigh and goes by her middle name Renee. She is 5'2, 110 pounds. Renee was last seen wearing red and white sneakers and a pale yellow/green t-shirt with "Sweet Honesty" imprinted on the front. Renee was 14 at the time she vanished and today would be 49.

Julie Moseley: She has light brown hair with blue eyes. She has scars under her left eye, on the middle of her forehead and on the back of her calf. Julie is 4'3, 85 pounds and was 9 years old when she vanished. Today she would be about 44.

Their story:

On December 23, 1974, 17 year old Mary 'Rachel' Trlica of Fort Worth, Texas set out for some Christmas shopping at the Seminary South Shopping Center, which is now the Fort Worth Town Center. She asked her friend 14 year old Lisa Renee Wilson to accompany her. They also let 9 year old Julie Moseley tag along, who was the daughter of Lisa's family's friends. At noon the girls went to the Army/Navy store to pick up gifts they had on layaway. Rachel's Oldsmobile was on the upper parking lot level by Sears. Witnesses place the three girls in the mall. The presents were found locked inside the Oldsmobile at 6 PM, so investigators believe they made it to the car.

Over the years, witnesses have come up to claim the girls were hustled in a pick up truck by a man. Another account was the girls being forced inside a van, claiming to the witness it was just a family dispute. Police believe the girls ran away, but family members think otherwise. Rachel Trlica, though still in highschool was married to Thomas Trlica, whom her sister Debra was involved in beforehand. Police believe that Rachel's sister Debra, knows more than she is letting on.

A letter was received by Rachel's husband a couple days after they all vanished. It stated they had to leave Fort Worth, but would be back in a week. It also gave directions to where he could pick up her car. Her husband doesn't believe she was the author of the letter, due to the handwriting and use of words.

Rachel's family is divided and her brother, Rusty, has hired a private investigator. They believe Moseley and Wilson are deceased, but they think that Rachel is alive, but being kept away from Forth Worth, Texas. There have been sightings of her as recently as 1998.

In April 2001, a witness claimed he saw the girls in a truck with a security guard. They looked very relaxed and calm. Authorities are following up on the lead and now think that the girls left with someone they trusted, but were later harmed.

Their have been sightings of Rachel, but overall the are presumed to be deceased. I beg to differ, I believe there is a great possibility they could be alive-maybe they ran away, or were forced into a slavery ring or even brainwashed. Yes, those do seem far fetch'd. They only reason why I do not strongly believe they ran away is because they had 9 year old Julie with them, whom Rachel didn't even know until that day. I'm sure if that was their intention, she wouldn't have been allowed to go with. Overall, I do believe that a someone they trusted, the security guard perhaps, took them with promise of helping them, but that has not his intention. These girls could still be out there. So look into their eyes, at their faces, and remember them.

Tara Calico; Missing 21 Years

Tara Calico, then 19 years old, left her house on Brugg Street in Belen, New Mexico to go on a bike ride at 9:30 on the morning of September 20, 1988. She took her mother's bike because her own was damaged. She was last seen riding her mother's neon pink Huffy mountain bicycle with yellow control cables and sidewalls on Highway 47 in Valencia County, at approximately 11:45 a.m. This location is approximately two miles from her home. She has never been seen again. Calico biked the route daily during her routine 36-mile ride. Her bike was never located. It is alleged that a nine-year-old boy vanished in April 1988 from the same area of New Mexico as Calico. He is the boy in a Polaroid taken with a girl believed to be Calico that are both bound with black tape over their mouths. The boy presumed to be in the picture is Michael Henley, his mother identified him in the photograph. Henley's remains were found in the Zuni Mountains in 1990. The FBI examined the photo and cannot determine whether the girl is Calico or the boy Henley, but experts at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Arizona believes the girl is Calico. The girl's hairline and ear are similar to Calico's, and she has a mark on her calf similar to a scar Calico got from an car accident injury. It is not known whether the Polaroid was staged or whether the boy and girl were being held against their will. Today Tara would be 40 years old.

Witnesses saw a dirty white or light gray-colored 1953 Ford pickup truck with a white handmade shell following Calico during her ride. It is not known if the truck is connected to her presumed abduction. She has hazel eyes and brown hair. She has a lazy eye and a cowlick on her right temple. She is 5'7" and weighs 120 lbs. Calico has a large scar on the back of her right shoulder and a scar on her calf. She has a dime-sized brown birthmark on the back of one of her legs.

Tara is said to be a very organized girl-she was efficient and independent. No one knows if it's her in the poloroid picture. I've looked at it, and I have doubts myself that it is, but I would never count the possibility out. I think she either must have got accidentally killed on her bike or abducted for some kind of slavery ring. After doing research of my own, that's about all I can come up with. That definitly doesn't mean that she isn't alive-she still has a stepfather alive who is still seraching for her.

Laurie Partridge (Missing 35 years)

On December 4, 1974, 17 year old Laurie Partridge left her Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington due to stomach cramps. She was walking the 2 miles to her home because she was not able to find a ride home. She was last seen by 37th and Havana Street. Laurie failed to go to her work at Lincoln Heights Theater and hasn't been heard from since.

Two days later, contents of her purse were found near the area where she was last seen. Her father had bought her tickets to a Beach Boys concert, but according to police she was not spotted there the whole night. Later on, it was found out that her tickets were used at the show, but authorities were unable to find out who had used them. She is not a runaway-she and her boyfriend were planning to marry and were going to select an engagement ring the day she disappeared. She was on the school drill team and the highschool newspaper as well. Laurie is the eldest of 5.

Today she would be 49 years old. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and is 5'0" with a weight of 110 lbs and a brown mole on her right cheek. She was last seen in long hooded navy blue coat similar to a monk's robe, a tan sweater, tan plaid pants, and blue denim shoes with crepe soles.

I really don't know what to make of this one. Her case is classified as a non-family abduction. I wonder if the person who used her tickets that night is the one who possibly did her harm? I also wonder if maybe they checked out the boyfriend. Maybe he picked her up and they got in a fight that ended wrong? Of course there's always the possibility of stranger abduction. It just seems suspicious that she vanished the day her and her boyfriend here supposed pick up their engagement rings. Possibly one of them didn't want to go through with it.

Lisa Dickinson, 9 Year Old Missing 33 Years!

On September 5, 1976, 9 year old Lisa Dickinson from Walnut Creek, CA was last seen riding her bike at 7:00 PM to the Bay Area Rapid Transit station from her home. She was supposed to be home by 8:00 PM, but she never returned and hasn't been heard from since that night.

Her bike was later found in a grove of walnut trees at Heather Farms Park near the Contra Costa Canal, 3 hours after she was last seen. Witnesses also claim they saw her near the entrance of the park. The park was later searched, but it turned up nothing. 33 years later, Lisa is still missing without a trace.

She had blonde hair and blue eyes with a fair complexion. she was 4' 10" and weighed 80 lbs. She was last seen in yellow t-shirt with an image of the cartoon character Snoopy printed on the front, blue shorts and white sandals.

First off, I don't know why she was allowed to go biking by herself. A young girl biking by herself at night is more than a target from child predators lurking out there. My theory is that she got picked up by someone or lured away. Whether she was sold into the child prostitution rings, slavery, etc. your guess is as good as mine, but I doubt it in this case. Like most cases, she probably isn't even that far from where she went missing.Her case is an old one that seems saldy forgotten. She would be 42 years old today.

Welcome to the blog about the Missing. Missing persons and children are America's number one underestimated problem today. A child goes missing every 40 seconds in the U.S., over 2,100 per day-and that is just in the United States. Some abductions may be by a parent, a trusted friend/adult or by a complete stranger. Sadly, there are so many children who are taken to be sold into the 'sex industry,' never to be seen again. It's a problem that seems to be greater every year.
That's why exposure and publicity are so crucial when it comes to the missing. The first 48 hours are the most crucuial, but most cases aren't solved in just a day. That's why I will start presenting some cold cases on this blog to you. One more person who knows their story is one more person who gives them and their loved ones hope.
